Looks like Greg Hardy will finally have his day in court.
Greg Hardy has not had the best season after he was given the franchise tag and a $13.1M salary for the Carolina Panthers . The Panthers were expecting their star pass rusher to reflect the hefty price tag but his off the field antics has prevented that. Hardy was found guilty in a preliminary hearing dealing with domestic violence issues. Since the league has taken a new stance on violence, Hardy was placed on the Commissioners Exempt list that allowed him to receive salary despite playing. The Carolina Panthers have been without Hardy this past season which ultimately lead to a decline in their defense. There is a silver lining for Hardy and hopefully a closed chapter; According to ProFootballTalk, Hardy will see his day in court next month.
Greg Hardy has a February 9 trial date, which means his situation should be resolved before the start of free agency.
