NFL Hall of Fame member, and former Baltimore Raven, Jonathan Ogden recently said that Ray Rice deserves to be back in the league, and is “a good man.” I guess everyones definition of “a good man” is different.
“We understand that the man made a huge mistake, but he’s done everything he could over the past year to make up for it.”
Ogden continued, “I think his record before that speaks to the fact that he really is a decent human being … and hopefully somebody will give him a chance because hes a good running back and a good man.”
Ogden says there’s no way in hell the Ravens will resign him to the team — but says, “Somebody should give him a chance.”
And I’m sure he thinks Ray Lewis is spiritual leader, Terrell Suggs is a great family man, and Haloti Ngata just took adderall. Ravens fly together.
With that being said, his point about second chances and the fact Ray Rice had never had a criminal offense in the past is also valid. In the end, it comes down to the fact is Ray Rice talented enough for someone to take a chance on him, we will see.
