In an interview with the BBC, former Tour De France cyclist Lance Armstrong said some powerful words.
“If I was racing in 2015, no, I wouldn’t do it again because I don’t think you have to. If you take me back to 1995, when doping was completely pervasive, I would probably do it again,” said Armstrong.
Armstrong insisted that there was a reason behind his doping days however. Armstrong felt like his LiveStrong campaign would not have been successful if he was not successful in racing.
“My charity went from raising no money to raising $500 million, serving three million people,” said Armstrong. “Do we want to take it away? I don’t think anybody says yes.”
