One day this broken legal system of ours will be fixed, and guys with money won’t be able to bail themselves out any bad situation.
Joseph Patterson, the man charged with killing Adrian Peterson’s 2-year-old son Tyrese Ruffin, has violated his bond agreement for a third time.
According to KELO TV in South Dakota, Patterson turned himself into the Jackson County courthouse Tuesday after he allegedly violated a protection order by “contacting a woman more than a dozen times in less than an hour this past weekend.”
The Argus Leader reports that the women is Ann Doohen, Ruffin’s mother. Patterson reportedly phoned her on Jan 3. After Doohen ended the call, Patterson called back. After a short conversation Doohen hung up, but Patterson called back three more times.
This fall, Patterson’s dad posted $2 million in bond to get his son back out of jail; $1 million was posted in Lincoln County and $1 million in Minnehaha County.
