The annual Madden Bowl was held during Super Bowl week once again. The Madden Bowl placed Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, Philadelphia Eagles running back Lesean McCoy, Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in head to head matchups until the final winner was crowned.
Kaepernick faced off against McCoy in the first match, where McCoy easily defeated Kaepernick, who did not even score a single point. Next Morris took on Peterson, and fell victim to Peterson’s superior Madden skills.
After “halftime” performances from Nelly, Georgia-Florida Line and even Lil John, the Madden Bowl continued with the final matchup between Peterson and the 2014 Madden Bowl Champ, McCoy.
Peterson got the last laugh however, defeating McCoy in the final minute 17-0, after returning an interception and scoring a deep TD with 3 seconds left, to be crowned the 2015 Madden Bowl Championship.
