I expect this to happen a few more times, whether it be true fandom, or simply guys trying to get out of jury duty.
Jury selection is underway in Massachusetts in the murder trial of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, and according to Kathryn Sotnik of NECN, one guy was already bounced for screaming out in court.
Potential Aaron Hernandez juror who showed up in Bruins jersey sent home. No sports gear from any team allowed during trial.

One potential juror showed up this AM with a Bruins jersey on, screaming "Go Pats!" He was told to leave. No SPORTS gear is allowed. @NECN

Bristol superior court judge E. Susan Garsh already barred Patriots gear, and apparently all sports gear, from the courthouse during Hernandez’s trial.
