The Samuel Dalembert era is set to come to and end as the Knicks do their best to start clearing salary cap space.
The Knicks are “actively trying” to trade Dalembert, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
Knicks, I'm told, actively trying to trade C Samuel Dalembert by Wednesday to avoid facing decision to keep him or waive him on that day

Dalembert was traded to the Knicks in June, along with Jose Calderon and Shane Larkin, in the deal that sent Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to the Dallas Mavericks. He opened the season as the Knicks’ starting center, but has since been removed out of the rotation and is averaging 4.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 17.0 minutes per game.
