Russell Westbrook didn’t get to score his usual high game last night; He was ejected early on.
Westbrook got in a scramble with Suns’ Alex Len and after only 17 mins/20 points, he was asked to leave. The Thunder still won with the leadership of Durant but after the game was over, Westbrook decided to take a page out from Marshawn Lynch’s book and give a… simple interview.
Westbrook didn’t too much deviate from “Good win”, much like Lynch “Thanks for asking”. Is it time for the media to give these players space or should players just understand that press comes with the game and they need to be more open when conducting interviews?
