Authorities in Decatur, Alabama have deemed the fire that destroyed Rolando McClain’s $1.5 million mansion — as arson according to reports.
Ed Paulk — the Alabama State fire marshall — released a statement Friday about his department’s ruling, although no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
The release read, in part, that the fire that gutted McClain’s home was determined to be “intentionally set.”
The fire burned McClain’s six-bedroom home to the ground on December 22, and authorities initially termed the fire “suspicious.” An investigation is ongoing, but no suspects have been identified.
