Dez Bryant is not feeling the love from the Cowboys, the media and anyone else interested in using his past against him in contract negotiations.
Bryant hasn’t always been a saint — in fact he’s guilty of several egregious acts — that are all in his rear view mirror.
Dez has to understand that those indiscretions can sometimes be used against you in business. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is trying to calm his star — comparing Bryant’s outburst — to the passion displayed by Muhammad Ali.
Jones ensured Bryant and everyone involved that his past would not affect contract negotiations.

It’s understandable that Bryant is frustrated. He has produced at an elite level in Dallas, wants to be there, and the team says he’s a franchise player.
THe Cowboys also have the right to tread lightly with a guy who wasn’t always this diligent.
