In what I’m sure was a bitter sweet moment for LeBron James — the Cavs star passed his childhood idol — Allen Iverson for 22nd place on the NBA’s all time scoring list.

Iverson secured his total over parts of 14 seasons in the NBA, while James topped Iverson’s figure in just his 12th campaign. James also accomplished the feat in 17,630 field goal attempts – 2,274 fewer than Iverson.
James is now within 200 points of another legend – former teammate Ray Allen – for 21st in scoring.
