These days we usually see the elite quarterbacks entering the draft opt not to throw at the combine. Well it seems we will get to see at least one of the top two quarterbacks participate in throwing drills, as Marcus Mariota has decided to throw in Indianapolis.
Oregon QB Marcus Mariota has informed teams he will throw Sunday at the Scouting Combine.

This is incredibly refreshing to see happen, as most quarterbacks typically find an excuse to not participate in throwing drills. Mariota could have easily opted not to throw at the combine after having issues with his shoulder, but he didn’t take the easy way out.
Things will really get interesting if Jameis Winston decides to throw in Indianapolis as well.
QBs actually scheduled to throw Saturday this year at Combine. Still no official word on Jameis Winston but Mariota is a go

I am absolutely giddy to take in the combine this year.
