Missouri basketball coach Kim Anderson had quite the scare Wednesday during a planned recruiting trip to the state of Illinois we learn via ESPN.
Anderson aboard a private twin-engine plane had to make an emergency landing at an airport approximately 100 miles outside of St. Louis Wednesday after one of the planes engines quit working suddenly.
Anderson along with two crew pilots were the only members aboard the plane during the recruiting trip when the engine failed.
Thankfully there were no injuries reported, and coach Anderson returned to Columbia following the premature ending to his trip via automobile.
