Usually I’m not a a huge fan of the printed Foamposites but Nike has a hit on their hands with these ‘China Tianjin.’
Solecollector.com has all of the release details:
The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘China’ pays tribute to basketball culture in the Chinese metropolis of Tianjin.
The sneaker is wrapped in intricate graphics that reference the cultural heritage of that city, and of China at large. There are lotus flower patches on the tongues and heels, fish graphics as a nod to the homonym status of the words for “fish” and “lotus”, and more. It looks like the sneaker will be exclusive to China, and the release date there is set for Feb. 7th.
It’s going to be super tough for sneakerheads to get their hands on a pair of these kicks but the ones that do will probably have the opportunity for huge resale value.
This would be a pair I’d keep for myself if I bought them.
