Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson’s future is uncertain — with the star running back doing everything he can to slither himself out of Minnesota.
The Vikings aren’t budging on a trade or release — with Jason Cole of Bleacher Report — saying that AP Wants to join Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys.
It will be interesting to watch this whole process play out. The Vikings hold all the cards, but Peterson’s abuse charges also make it hard for them to bring him back into the fold.
In an interview with ESPN on Thursday, the running back said he is “still uneasy” about rejoining the Vikings after the team helped push along his placement on the Commissioner’s Exempt List in September.
“There were people (in the organization) that I trusted, who knew exactly what was said, that weren’t heard from,” as the team pondered its next move with the back, Peterson said. “They weren’t able to do anything about it.”
The two parties want a separation — I’m just not sure the Vikings can stomach him landing in the lap of Jerry Jones — for cheap.
