Kevin Garnett is back in Minnesota, and he may be back in the Twincities even after his playing days are over.
Garnett, who has made over $325 million in salaries during 20 seasons in the NBA — is reportedly putting together an investment group along with Wolves president-coach Flip Saunders in an attempt to buy the team from Glen Taylor — according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
The 15-time All-Star was recently traded back to Minnesota, where he spent the first 12 years of his career. He was the NBA’s MVP as a member of the Timberwolves in 2004, and remains the franchise’s all-time leader in games, minutes played, points, assists, rebounds, steals and blocks.
