Tom Brady could follow in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s footsteps one day as a football player-turned-actor. Brady, who has said multiple times that he doesn’t plan to retire from the NFL anytime soon — believes he could start a career in Hollywood one day — while being a huge star a source told Star magazine.
“At 37, Tom knows he only has a few seasons left before retirement,” the source told Star, via the Boston Herald. “He’s thinking ahead and believes he could become a huge movie star. “He’s used to being a superstar. After winning the Super Bowl again, he’s thinking about new challenges outside of football.” Brady made a forgettable appearance on “Saturday Night Live” in 2005, but he showed off some impressive acting chops in a fantasy football commercial last year.
He’s starring in two movies this summer, “Ted 2″ and “Entourage”, both with buddy Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg said Brady’s performance in “Ted 2″ is “amazing.” “Tom’s in the movie. He plays himself, but he does an amazing job,” Wahlberg said in November. “Funny, funny moment.”
Ronald Reagan left acting to become president, so anything can happen.
