Ronda Rousey is unreal!
How do you top a 16 second victory? Finish your next opponent in 13 seconds.
Cat Zingano decided to rush Rousey with a flying knee which landed but ended up sending her and Rousey to the mat. That’s when Rousey transitioned to Cat’s back and sinked in an inverted straight arm lock. A move that I’ve never seen before.
The real question is who is next for Rousey?
During the post fight interview Ronda said that she’d like to take the “0” form Holly Holm’s record and after what we saw from Holm tonight I don’t see how Ronda doesn’t. She is clearly the best fighter in the world and her ground game is second to none.
At this point Dana White can only find a way to add Cris Cyborg to the roster. She headlined Friday’s Invicta fight and finished her opponent in 40 seconds. That’s be the biggest fight of the year in MMA, men or women, and Dana White knows that.
Until then Dana and the UFC has a problem on their hands. A problem not often seen in sports. What happens when someone is too dominant? What happens when they are indeed unbeatable?
Only time will tell.
