Where 2015 will bring Adrian Peterson is a question no one can answer for sure.
On Monday, his agent began stating to Viking officials that his client would never play for the Minnesota Vikings again. AP’s father, contrarily, stated to a newspaper that his son hadn’t made any judgments on his potential landing spots – and certainly had not ruled out a return to Minnesota.
“He is open to returning to the Vikings,” Nelson Peterson told Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press. “He hasn’t closed the door on saying, ‘I won’t play for the Vikings.’ He hasn’t demanded a trade.”
This all occurred before a judge had even granted permission to return to the NFL – which happened on Thursday. Of course, the NFL will more than likely appeal the decision to reinstate AP, and we won’t know with 100% certainty where, if at all, the RB will be playing next year.
That won’t stop ProFootballTalk from speculating on the matter, however.
The universe of teams for Adrian Peterson, barring something unexpected (e.g. Marshawn retiring): Vikings, Cowboys, Cardinals, Colts.

The assumption here is that “something unexpected” also includes “AP not being allowed to play next year”. In total, though, these are some very interesting teams.
The Colts would love to have a dynamic option out of the backfield to compliment (and hopefully save) Luck’s young arm. And we all know Peterson, behind that powerful Cowboy offensive-line, could instantly be a game changer every time he touched that ball.
Keep in mind that Peterson will be more motivated than ever to prove himself if given the opportunity. Unfortunately for us, we’re going to have to wait and see.
