It looks like Andre Johnson may have on less suitor on the market for the tall wide receiver, as San Fran may have filled that void today. Per the 49ers,
The San Francisco 49ers announced they have signed WR Jerome Simpson to a two-year deal.
Simpson (6-2, 190) was originally selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round (46th overall selection) of the 2008 NFL Draft. He has played in 57 games (36 starts) and has tallied 145 receptions for 2,004 yards and eight touchdowns.
During his six-year career, Simpson has played for the Cincinnati Bengals (2008-11) and the Minnesota Vikings (2012-13). Simpson set a career high with 726 receiving yards on 48 receptions and one touchdown in 2013.
The talented wide receiver is a significant pick up for a team who had just finalized a deal with DT Darnell Dockett, as it appears SF is making a hard push for that Seahawks crown.

Simpson will likely be equally reinvigorated on a team that’s competing for a shot at the Super Bowl.
No further details regarding numbers in the deal as this story is still developing.
