Craig Sager returned to the NBA sideline earlier in March after being away from an extended period of time due to his battle with Leukemia. Players, fans and colleagues welcomed Sager back with opened arms but it was announced shortly after that he would not be able to cover the NCAA men’s basketball tournament due to additional medical testing.
On Sunday, Rachel Nichols of Turner Sports, provided some additional information for the fans on Sagar’s statues revealing that his leukemia has returned.
A message from the Sager family with the latest update on Craig. Sending all good thoughts to our friend #SagerStrong pic.twitter.com/MiNt7dE2kq

Sager was first diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in April of 2014 and took 11-months off while he was undergoing chemotherapy treatment. My prayers are with Craig Sager and the Sager family.
