The Golden State Warriors have the ‘Splash Brothers’– an MVP candidate running the point — an a personable enforcer who makes the whole train go.
Draymond Green has transformed himself from a questioned “tweener” out of Michigan State, to a talented and efficient big-wing — on the cusp of stardom.
After helping the Warriors bully the Clippers, Draymond says he believes “the Warriors are “absolutely” the best team in the NBA.”
“Absolutely,” he told USA TODAY Sports without hesitation, well aware that the Hawks downed the Warriors on Feb. 6 and that they’ll see them again in Oakland on March 18. “Atlanta’s a very good ball club. They’ve showed that and proved that over the course of the year. But we do believe in ourselves, and think we’re the best team in the league.”
Green made those comments after dropping 23 points and six assists while gaining a few more defensive player of the year votes.
