A former Temple football standout, and son of a prominent Baltimore attorney is facing human trafficking charges.
Former Temple football standout Matt Brown was arrested on Tuesday and charged with prostituting three underage teenagers, according to a report.
According to the report, Brown and another man, Anthony Leon Eley, Jr., were arrested on human trafficking charges after arranging for paid sex between three girls — ages 14, 16 and 17 — and an undercover Baltimore vice detective.
Police said Brown and Eley met the detectives at the Baltimore County hotel Tuesday night with the girls to be used as prostitutes.
Both men are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center, according to the report. The girls were taken into custody as victims of human trafficking.
Brown, the son of prominent Baltimore attorney Warren Brown, was a wide receiver, running back and special teams standout for Temple from 2009-2012.
Brown was the backup to Bernard Pierce during his time at Temple. Brown, an undrafted 5-foot-5, 165-pounder, was signed as a kick returner by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013 before being released.
