Former Cowboys second round pick Bruce Carter will be leaving Dallas for sunny Tampa Bay to sign with the Buccaneers, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Carter had 4 up and down seasons in Dallas after being drafted out of the University of North Carolina. The athletically gifted Carter, was never quite able to use his talents to translate into the player that the Cowboys had hoped he would be. The Bucs seem to be a good fit for Carter since they run the same Tampa-2 scheme that Dallas runs under defensive coordinator Rod Marenilli.
