The Pro Day is merely a mirage of what a player’s potential could be, and never a true testament to how they will pan out.The classic example would be JaMarcus Russell, who “wowed” just about everybody in the league with his Pro Day, and then quickly fizzled out after being selected first overall.
With that being said, all reports out of Florida State’s Pro Day were that Jameis Winston looked good, not great.
Either way one thing’s for sure, this isn’t the way Jameis wanted to leave his mark. Per Bleacher Report,
Even though there’s no defense on the field, receiver Christian Green found himself a bit shaken up at Florida State’s Pro Day on Tuesday.
And he can thank Jameis Winston for that.
One of Winston’s throws down the sideline to Green got a way from the quarterback a bit and led the receiver out of bounds—and right into the ESPN set. It resulted in a loud crash, with everyone hoping that Green walked away unscathed.
Green appeared to be fine as he walked back to midfield.
You can watch the Vine below, as Winston’s face perfectly describes how many of us were feeling as we watched the ball sail away.

The best part is at the end where he kind of just shrugs it off. Oh well, load up another. Move those cameramen a little farther away next time.
The Pro Day won’t make or break Jameis, but it will be interesting to watch how he performs with even more eyes on him going forward.
