Tatsumi Fujinami is well known in Japan, comparable to what Hulk Hogan is here in the United States. Fujinami won the WWE Junior Heavyweight Championship in 1978. The biggest moment of his career came in 1991 when Fujinami became the first man to hold both the IWGP and NWA Championships at the same time defeating Ric Flair for the NWA title in front of over fifty thousand fans in the Tokyo Dome. The WWE announced Tatsumi Fujinami as the newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015.
Anyone comparable to Hulk Hogan is a shoe-in WWE Hall of Famer.
