Washington Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden spoke at the NFL Annual Meetings about Washington possibly drafting a QB in this years draft with the 5th overall pick.
“It’s something we have to talk about in-house…If we think it’s worth the risk to hit the reset button, if he’s that good of a football player, if we decide in the building that he’s that good of a football player that we think we should do that, then we should do that.” Jay Gruden
The Redskins drafted RGIII with the 2nd overall pick in the 2012 draft and RGII was electric in his rookie year. However since then Head Coach Mike Shanahan is no longer there and RG3 has been hit with injuries and been benched on several occasions. Head coach Jay Gruden and RGIII haven’t so far seem like a match. Recently Gruden said RGIII should feel confident knowing he’s the starter next year but I wouldn’t feel to confident knowing my team which already has 3 QBs on the roster is at least entertaining the idea of drafting another one.
