The Hawks have pretty much sewn up the #1 seed in the Eastern conference playoffs, with a 10 game lead over the second best team in the Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers. At 52-14 it is conceivable that Korver’s injury will not affect the Hawks, but they are already short handed when the lost forward Mike Scott for a month due to a broken toe. Players have been able to play with the broken nose in the past by using the protective facemasks, but for a player such as Korver who relies on an extensive shooting ritual, this mask may be the minor difference in bringing his 3 point percentage down
