Knicks fans are hurting badly right now because their beloved team is in shambles and there seems to be no silver lining in the near future. On Friday night, the team managed to actually win a game, but the win was overshadowed by some comments that Phil Jackson made before the game. It was all in jest, but it’s probably not a good idea to kick Knicks fans while they’re down.
“[Taking over the Knicks] is not something I really wanted to do,” he said, “it’s something that my partner [Jeanie Buss] said, ‘You’re sitting on all this information. Come on out and destroy a basketball team that you love.’ So that’s what I’ve done.”
