In their fourth and last game against each other in the series, the Atlanta Hawks (54-17) take on the Miami Heat (33-38) at the Philips Arena in Atlanta on Friday March 27 at 7:30 EST.
The Hawks are 3-0 in the series this season and won the last game in Miami 93-91, without starters Jeff Teague, Al Horford, DeMarre Carroll and Pero Antic.
The Hawks are two wins away from clinching the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and are three wins away from tying the franchise record for wins (57). The Heat are trying to secure a playoff spot, whether it be a 7th or 8th seed. The Heat are just 10-25 against teams with a winning record this season.
The story of the night however is that Atlanta based rapper 2 Chainz will be performing not once, not twice, but three times during the game festivities.
2 Chainz will take the stage at 7pm for a pregame show before the game begins. Next 2 Chainz will take the stage during a halftime show, filled with floor holograms, etc. Lastly, 2 Chainz will hit the stage one last time to offer fans a post game concert.
Earlier this week, the Hawks released a series of promotional videos showing 2 Chainz taking over as the CEO of the Hawks. A special 2 Chainz/Hawks shirt is also available in the Hawks store for the game.
