In a Tuesday article on SI.com, Grant Wahl reports that Cristiano Ronaldo “would likely begin a career in MLS on a free transfer in 2018 once his current contract with Real Madrid ends.
The reports are now echoing the comments made by his representative, Jorge Mendes — indicating that he will head to the US.
The report adds that “Ronaldo’s main interest lie in the big three cities – Miami, Los Angeles and New York.”
