Backlash and criticism of Indiana’s “Religious Freedom Restoration Act” continues to come out of the sports universe. USC Athletic Director Pat Haden is the latest to condemn the new law. Haden says he supports his gay son and because of that he will not attend the College Football Playoff committee meeting schedule to be held in Indianapolis this week.
I am the proud father of a gay son. In his honor, I will not be attending the CFP committee meeting in Indy this week. #EmbraceDiversity

Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard tweeted last night that Indy will not be defined by this law. However Indianapolis is starting to be defined by this law, at least in the public eye. The state of Indiana might have to look at changing that law sooner than later.
Indianapolis will not be defined by this. #IndyWelcomesAll
