How many people can say they beat Floyd Mayweather?
Well, no one can since Mayweather turned pro back in 1996. The pretty boy will be putting his 47-0 record on the line against Manny Pacquiao May 2nd in Las Vegas.
However, before turning pro, Mayweather did in fact lose and it was to Semafir Todorov. You’d think someone that beat Mayweather would brag about it for life, but Todorov is actually doing the opposite.
Todorov doesn’t necessarily regret beating Mayweather, but he definitely regrets not capitalizing on it. After defeating Mayweather, he was approached by several boxing promoters, who offered him professional contracts, but he didn’t sign any of them.
Nearly twenty years later, Mayweather is making millions of dollars, while Todorov is completely irrelevant.
