The Bulls-Bucks series has started off to a 1-0 lead for Chicago but it looks like Milwaukee doesn’t plan on going out like some punks.
The second two games of the series will be held in Wisconsin and Milwaukee Bucks primary owner Jamie Dinan is trying to ensure that his team’s home games don’t feel like they’re being played in the Windy City.
According to Bleacher Report , it is just an hour-and-a-half drive from Chicago to Milwaukee and Bradley Center is anticipating a plethora of Bulls fans to make the little road trip to support their city.
Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun Times went into detail about the owner’s comments.
“Milwaukee Bucks primary owner Jamie Dinan is well aware of the hostile takeover headed for his arena next week when Bulls fans make their usual migration north and treat the Bradley Center as if it were located in a Chicago suburb.
So his message to Milwaukee reporters was this:
“I would say it’s going to be a very long, long, lonely drive home to west Chicago after the games here,’’ Dinan said about Bulls fans planning to make the drive up Interstate 94. “That’s my advice. Stay home because you’re going to be really lonely and sad on that long ride home.’’
I’m all for trash talk so I respect the owner’s efforts, but either way Bradley Center will be full of Bulls fans and Dinan should hope for his sake that his team backs his words up.
