The mad scientist that is Chip Kelly is at work behind the scenes trying to stockpile picks. You guys know what that means.
The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly shopping linebacker Mychal Kendricks for a 2nd round pick, which would be used as ammo to trade up for Marcus Mariota on draft day.
Eagles are shopping LB Mychal Kendricks. Seeking a 2nd round pick in return. Teams are balking at that price but something could happen

Of course, if the Eagles did get good return for Kendricks would give them more potential fodder for a trade up for a certain QB…

And, Kendricks could always be a trade chip himself to move up as part of a package if things work out in that regard, as well

Personally, I would love to have Kiko Alonso and Mychal Kendricks in the middle of my defense, but obviously Chip is not going to let a good linebacker come between him and his ideal fit at quarterback. I’m not sure a team will give up a number two pick for Kendricks, but any package of picks Philadelphia can get will only help their cause.
Looking like Chip is going to do everything in his power to put together the best deal possible to get up to number two tomorrow night.
