If you have the gumption to ask Gregg Popovich a post game question after a blowout loss — you’d better have one hell of a thought out question, and not your typical “so what went wrong coach’ type of question.
The Clippers handed San Antonio a surprising 107-92 beat down on Sunday night, which led to ‘Pop’ being two-times his normal irritated self.
Popovich gave short one or two-word answers to these two questions about DeAndre Jordan.
“How much did DeAndre Jordan affect everything you did offensively in the first half tonight?” is a perfectly fine question, but Popovich often does not respond well to indefinite “How much?” questions. This is poor scouting of his subject by the reporter, but this question would have been fine for any other NBA coach.
“Coach, there seemed to be some good ball movement with your team a lot of times. There were some other times where they seemed erratic or out of control. Could you talk about that please?”
