Even though there is still snow on most New England front yards, the Summer of Gronk is alive and well.
In just the past few days he’s thrown out the first pitch and sat in the dugout of an Angels game, revealed what Brady says to him after a TD, and confirmed he would be Guest DJ at a famous day-club in Vegas during May.
That’s all within a week!
We also know he’s going to be playing himself in the upcoming Entourage movie, along with teammates Julian Edelman and Tom Brady.
That’s not the only acting gig Gronk has scored during the off-season, however.
Rob Gronkowski grabbed his badge and his gun to play a cop for the new flick, “You Can’t Have It” — which stars Joanna Krupa and Armand Assante.
Unclear what the movie’s about — but Rob ain’t the only Gronk with a role … his brother Dan Gronkowski also plays a cop.
It’s a big move for Gronk who previously told us he’s into the Hollywood scene — and at the very least, he’s flirting with the idea of becoming a movie star after his playing days are over.
That’s a big move for the big dude, and may lead to even bigger pay days down the line for him.
Overall, though, I’m sure this is just a fun project for the brothers to get together to do. It looks about as serious as A Gronking To Remember, which actually sold pretty well when you consider how ridiculous of a concept that book was.
My guess is Gronk knows his name is a commodity right now and he’s using it to his full advantage. Live it up, my guy.
