Steve Kerr is the hottest coach in basketball — with the best team in all of the association. He’s not worried about any of the critics or pundits.
Charles Barkley likes to criticize everyone about anything they do and he recently got the Warriors attention when he made these statements.
They’re a legitimate contender, but I just think bigger teams can beat them up down low.
Barkley made those comments in spite of the Warriors impressive defensive numbers as a team, and the presence of Draymond Green as the likely DPOY.
It appears that Barkley’s past generosity with Steve Kerr got him a pass this time:
“I love Charles. I worked with him for eight years,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said, referring to his years as a TV analyst. “He’s incredible at what he does. He’s hilarious. He picks up every bar tab when you’re on the road; 28 people from TNT at the bar, and he picks up the tab. He bought me so many beers over the years that whatever Charles wants to say about our team I have no problem with.”
How can you not respect the opinions of guy who always picks up the tab.
