The NFL has to make a decision on whether or not Greg Hardy will be hit with a suspension for his well-documented domestic violence. In the meantime, it appears the league will have some physical evidence to assist in the decision making process.
An order filed Wednesday in a North Carolina court grants limited access to the NFL, the players association and attorneys for Hardy. The order says the photographs were provided by someone outside law enforcement. The NFL sued for access to them.
The photos were part of the state’s evidence when the former Carolina player was convicted by a judge. The conviction was dismissed after the accuser couldn’t be found to testify when Hardy requested a jury trial.
Hardy is now signed to the Cowboys for a 1-year deal.
