Peyton Manning is still in my eyes the best regular season quarterback I have ever seen play but he is getting a little sharp in the tooth. Manning is now 39-years-old but still has a strong desire to play football which was shown when he surprisingly took a pay cut to stay with the Broncos last month.
Manning gave an update on how he is feeling after practice on Tuesday:
“I feel good physically, and the whole team, including me, is just excited to get back on theft eke. We’ve been here a couple of weeks, lifting and meeting, but it’s always nice to get back on the football field.”
Manning is a 14-time Pro Bowler and will have a new system ran by Gary Kubiak this season but is looking forward to adjusting to it. Manning was also asked if his season will be like a farewell tour for him
“I like to think I’m pretty versatile believe it or not. I feel like I can execute whatever plays the coach call.” I wouldn’t call it that. That’s not how I see it.”
I enjoy watching Manning play on Sunday’s, nothing gets me excited like hearing OMAHA OMAHA blasting through my speakers.
