If Sam Bradford really is the Eagles’ long-term answer at quarterback, he’s going to make the organization prove it. He’s also prepared to mess up any chance the Eagles have of landing Mariota.
The Browns, who have been known to like Bradford and own both the 12th and 19th overall picks in the draft, were being highly considered as a third piece to the puzzle that somehow lands the Eagles Marcus Mariota.
Cleveland and any other potential suitor may bow out of the Bradford sweepstakes, after Chris Mortensen reported that Bradford would only sign an extension with Philadelphia.
.@mortreport “Sam Bradford will only sign an extension with the Eagles, makes it tougher for teams interested in trading for him.”

Is there any chance the Eagles can come to terms on a long-term deal with Bradford before the start of 2015 season?
“I’m not sure a deal gets done,” the person said. “But (Condon) will at least listen to the Eagles.”
