When you’re a projected lottery pick like Stanley Johnson, leaving for the NBA is almost a foregone conclusion.
However, that doesn’t appear to be the case here.
Also hearing that Arizona star freshman Stanley Johnson is still strongly considering returning to Tucson for his sophomore year.

From a pure basketball standpoint, returning to Tuscon is probably the right decision for Johnson. While he has great intangibles, he’s still a very limited outside shooter and average ball handler at best.
With that being said, a return to school brings up the risk of injury, which could heavily affect his NBA stock moving forward.
Johnson averaged 13.8 points and 6.5 rebounds this past season.
