There’s not to say about this story other than it’s the epitome of a class act.
Sect. 140, Row A, Seat 13 will be left open for tonight's game. Roy Williams has donated that seat to the memory of the late Butch Ryan.

Bo and Butch Ryan never missed a Final Four. Touching gesture from Coach Williams @UNC_Basketball pic.twitter.com/oEbdrJUEqa

I’m not surprised Roy Williams wouldn’t personally attend, it’d be nothing but a tease since he isn’t coaching in it. With that being said, Williams could have done any number of things with the tickets. To decide to essentially give the ticket away for Bo and his family is a gesture that few people on this earth would even think of.
Just an unorthodox, touching move by UNC Coach Roy Williams that shouldn’t be forgotten.
In the video below you can watch Coach K speak glowingly about Bo Ryan and his late father, who passed away over a year ago. Bo Ryan then goes on to detail how his father’s wish was to “Bring On Duke”.
Clearly Bo really loved and admired his father, and the truth is much of men’s college basketball admire’s Bo.
