The mass exodus from Kentucky is official.
Seven underclassmen from Kentucky’s team that started 38-0 this season before losing to Wisconsin in the Final Four announced Thursday they are entering the 2015 NBA Draft.
The seven players — Willie Cauley-Stein, Karl-Anthony Towns, Devin Booker, Trey Lyles, Dakari Johnson, and the Harrisons were UK’s top seven scorers.
Four of the Kentucky players who declared — specifically Karl-Anthony Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein, Trey Lyles and Devin Booker — are considered locks for the first round. Johnson, Aaron Harrison and Andrew Harrison are projected as second-round picks.
According to sources, Dakari Johnson is the only one of the seven who seriously considered returning to UK.
