The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels may have a huge 2016 lined up. Wrestlemania 32 is scheduled to take place from Arlington, TX at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T stadium. That means they have a ton of seats to sell and they need as many names on the card to sell that place out that they can find. Cue ‘Mr. Wrestlemania’ Shawn Michaels who just so happens to live in Texas. The WWE has offered HBK something for Wrestlemania 32 and it may be a match. Jim Ross recently sat down with Shawn Michaels for his Ross Report podcast.

Near the end of the podcast, Jim Ross warned Michaels that the fans are going to be hounding him during the next year about returning to the ring because WrestleMania is in Michaels’ home state of Texas. Michaels then responded by saying “WWE has already made me an offer,” and then added “I’m happy with staying retired.”
HBK has been around here and there and still looks in good shape. If he wanted to, he can easily do another match as he will be 50 this summer. He may be happy staying retired today but we are a long way away and he can easily change his mind when it gets closer to showtime. Still plenty of life in him for one more match but Shawn is the type of guy that would want a great story to justify coming out of retirement, which he has taken seriously. It isn’t all about the money anymore for him but I am sure he wouldn’t mind having one more iconic match with a superstar of his choosing. Daniel Bryan maybe?
