After a 96-69 victory over the Phoenix Suns in Atlanta on Tuesday night, the Atlanta Hawks officially broke the franchise record for most wins in a season.
With a game Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets, the Hawks left Atlanta after the game to head to NYC.
Here’s a timeline of the Hawks before two players, Thabo Sefolosha and Pero Antic were arrested at a NYC nightclub.
Tuesday 9:45 pm – Hawks win game against Phoenix Suns
Tuesday 10:15 pm– Media interviews in Hawks locker room begin. Antic and Sefolosha were in attendance.
Tuesday 11 pm – The Hawks players left Phillips Arena, headed to Hartsfield Jackson airport.
Tuesday 11:30 pm – Midnight – The Hawks boarded a plane, headed to NYC.
Wednesday Midnight- 2 am – The Hawks were in route to NYC
Wednesday 2am – Hawks players arrive in New York City. Hawks luggage was taken to the team hotel by team officials and players were allowed to do whatever they wanted to do.
Wednesday 2am- 3:30am- Antic and Sefolosha arrive and party at 1 Oak nightclub in NYC. In the same clothes they left the Hawks locker room in earlier.
Wednesday 3:30 am – 4 am – Antic and Sefolosha were arrested by NYPD for obstructing justice, and Antic also was arrested for resisting arrest after Pacers Chris Copeland was stabbed at the nightclub.
Wednesday 7 am- Sefolosha and Antic were released from jail.
Wednesday 9 am – Hawks PR chair Garin Narain released a statement saying that the Hawks are aware of the arrest and will look to get more information.
