With the Tennessee Titans selecting Marcus Mariota second overall in the NFL Draft tonight, that more than likely means incumbent starter Zach Mettenberger is going to be in an uphill fight to keep his job going into the season.
Instead of sticking it out and competing, it seems that Mettenberger has no intentions of wanting to stay in Nashville with Mariota on the way.
#Titans QB Zach Mettenberger's agent, Joe Linta, told @mortreport that he wants his client traded with Mariota on board.

Mettenberger needs to relax. He doesn’t have enough juice to request a trade just yet, so he needs to get comfortable and get ready to compete with Mariota. I think the Titans got a steal in Mettenberger last year in the draft, but I fully expect Mariota to win the job in camp.
