Chris Bosh was delivered some potentially life-threatening news earlier this season when doctors found blood clots in his lungs.
Obviously, his season was cut short because of it, and many had feared the worst: his playing days could be over.
Have no fear, Heat Nation. Bosh is saying that he’ll be back and better than ever to start next year.
“I will be ready on opening night,” said Bosh. “I’m looking forward to being the best version of myself in 2015-2016 at the start.”
In April it was announced that Bosh was back to lifting and runningdespite reportedly taking blood thinners into the middle of the month. The Heat had said in February that he would not resume full basketball activities until September – just in time for training camp.
That’s an extremely confident quote for a guy battling back from such a potentially devastating issue.
Good for Bosh, though. My guess is next year the people of Miami will really rally behind their big man. He deserves it.
