While the New York Jets quarterback situation is in flux and working itself out, the receiving corp is now a strength after the franchise traded for Brandon Marshall.
The 31-year-old, five-time pro bowler, believes the best is yet to come because he “feels better than ever.”
“I really feel like I’m better now than I’ve ever been,” Marshall said Wednesday, after the Jets’ fifth OTA of the spring.
Marshall finished his final year with the Bears on injured reserve due to fractured ribs and a punctured lung. Now he’s battling the likes of Antonio Cromartie and Darrelle Revis, hoping to make everyone involved better.
We have Red Zone today at practice. Time to eat. Sorry @Revis24 @CRO31 #Jets #NFL

There’s the physical part, feeling healthy, and our medical staff here is probably the best in the league,” Marshall said. “I feel great, and now I’m starting to see the game differently, being older and having a lot of experience. So having all of that working for me, and going against those guys every single day, I’m excited about doing my job this year.”
