Doug Baldwin couldn’t contain himself on 710 ESPN Seattle yesterday, when the Seahawks wideout was asked about the team’s offseason addition of three-time Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham.
“He can be an offense completely amongst himself,” Baldwin said of the 6-foot-7, 265-pound Graham. “His ability to be a big target in the red zone, his athleticism is really strange for a guy his size. The way he moves, it’s unbelievable. He’s going to be able to do a lot of things for us offensively.”
Head coach Pete Carroll has said he thinks Graham will help open up the passing game for Baldwin — but the trash talking wideout believes the presence of Graham will provide huge running lanes for Lynch.
“Not only is he going to be able to open things up for myself, but also for Marshawn as well,” Baldwin said. “And opening more things up for Marshawn is going to be devastating to the defenses we face.”
